Trouble Purging

Hi,

could someone help me on this. i am currently working on a drawing that was for eg. drawing number 5000 and i saved it as 5001 to save time rather than draw everything again. after i got rid of all the guff i didnt need i purged the drawing. some layers remain and i dont know why. there is nothing in the layer and the blocks have been exploded so there is nothing nested either. anyone know a solution?

managed to solve it. i copied the stuff i needed from the drawing into a blank drawing then the layers were gone simple solution haha i've been trying lots of things to get rid of them aswell and all it took was that! thanks for the help anyway ReMark . i tried what you said but still the layers where there i am still puzzled as to how they didnt purge out. i did everything possible i think lol
