Hi All,

This might be a stupid question, but may be some one had tried this before and want to use your inputs.

We have a Production drawing and there will be changes in it as you all know.. now my requirement is when some one edits a drawing, ACAD should automatically take the date the drawing is modified and ask the modifier to change the revision. And should allow to save only when a drawing revision is entered.

i made a Block and created with attributes which will do the above but only when you double click on it . which will not serve my purpose fully.

pls give your ideas...

somone one might be able to write you a lisp that takes over the qsave command and opens the block for editing first then saves after edits have been made.

You might try posting in the AutoLISP forum. I'm sure that we have some forum members knowledgeable in LISP that can point you in the right direction regarding tutorials and good web sites for LISP related information.
