NBC Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 After you type BEDIT at the command line, select instead of your block named CSAL01PL Quote
ankers Posted June 22, 2009 Author Posted June 22, 2009 when i do that i still cant edit the attribute. Quote
NBC Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Anyone else with 2008 care to have a look ? Maybe this is one of the slight differences between 2008 and 2009 - as it seemed to select the attribute on my system. Quote
dbroada Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 doesn't work here - my guess is its an old block that has been updated and not attsynced. Where did you get the block? Quote
nukecad Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 I've just opened it in LT2002 and can edit the attribute value OK using _attedit. Or are you trying to change the attribute tag? Quote

spur Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Hi ankers, Not sure if you have resoveld this. (Or maybe not understanding you correct.) I opend your dwg and typed battman. The command line said 'The selected block has no attributes'. I copied your block and exploded and made a new block with attributes. Inserted it and was then able to change the tag through the battman command. Make sure in settings that 'Apply changes to existing references' is unchekced to stop the tag in the block/s already inserted being updated. Insert the block again and the tag shows it changes.
