DAVE OWENS Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 I Hope I'm In The Right Area To Ask A Question. My Problem Is When I Explode A Multitext, Sometimes It Would Be Easier To Reverse The Command After I Finish My Modifcation. How Is This Done? Thanks Quote
ReMark Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 In other words, you want to change your single line text (from the Explode command) back into multiline text? And why did you explode the multiline text initially? Just curious. Quote
dbroada Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 I'm not sure you can with LT. There is an express tool but is that included in LT? As Mark implies, if you want multiline - best to leave it as it is. Quote
ReMark Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Dave is referring to the Express Tools routine Change text to Mtext (txt2mtxt) which I believe is done via a LISP routine. LT does not have the ability to use LISP. Quote

And why did you explode the multiline text initially? Just curious. I know it can be risky, but sometimes when I use my material information (like 16 ga. steel instead of 14 ga. steel) I explode the list and change it for a different drawing. Then on the other hand I need to change the letter size, and it makes the spacing between the components off. Quote
ReMark Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Multiline text can be editted. I see no reason to explode it. I think it is counterproductive. Quote
