Changes made in xref'd drawing to certain layers are not updating in parent drawing. Xref has been reloaded and the changes are still not coming through.

In this case, the color of a layer in the child drawing was originally set to blue. We changed that in the child drawing to be bylayer and color 8.

Go into the parent drawing and the change didnt take. Reload the xref and the change still doesnt take.

Any ideas?

its the retain changes to xref layers... dont know the command off hand, but its in options>open and save tab> on the right its a check box.

Set the setvar "visretain" to zero, reload the xref and reset "visretain "to 1. All Done
