e.mounir Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Hello all I have problem I using AutoCAD 2009 when I make VIEWPORT after then when I selected it. It’s take a lot of time and it is hard to select it by object snap Quote
ReMark Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Is this the only circumstance under which AutoCAD 2009 responds slowly? Quote
e.mounir Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 Yes this case only in AutoCAD 2009 in some drawing , but I started all drawing with the same DWT file Quote
ReMark Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Why are you using osnaps to select a viewport if I might ask? Quote
Tiger Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 it's not that you have Snap toggled on? Just asking... Quote
e.mounir Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 I have 4 parts in model when I make view port I make it as per the limits of the part. For example First I selected it and from the grips I stretch it to limit of parts Quote
e.mounir Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 The same Snap toggled on or off but it is hard if it’s on Quote
Tiger Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 If Snap is on then yeah, it's hard to select anything by clicking on it. Snap means that your crosshaird 'jumps' from grid-point to gridpoint so it's hard to select anything that is not on a gridpoint. Quote
ReMark Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 So we're talking about snap not Osnap. I see. Object snap is referred to as Osnap. Snap, per AutoCAD Help, "restricts cursor movement to specified intervals." Quote
e.mounir Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 No I know what you meaning but it doesn’t work we still taking about view port with osnap Quote
