Teeds Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 [Rant] OK, I'll admit to being a little more than slightly agrivated at the moment ... ... so I may have missed it trying a search here and I definitely cannot find it in any book that I have ... How do I STOP the UCS from trying to anticipate what orientation that I want when I am working on a 3D model. I am tired of the random craziness of some unnamed, unknowing, unwashed, unwhatever ... programmer thinking he knows what I want to do. Everytime it senses a solid the UCS rotates to some face orientation on that object ... nevermind that I don't want it to. [/Rant] I set my UCS with 3P on an icon that is built outside of the model as a way of always understanding the orientation of what I am working on. Thanks for listening and thanks in advance for your assistance ... I'm getting some coffee ... Oh ... I'm in 2007 at the moment, as 2009 is too slow on my laptop and I have not loaded 2010 ... but that is a different subject ... Quote
