copying text not possible?

Hi all,

 

I've an idw and I'm trying to copy text but it doesn't work. Is this just not possible or am I doing something wrong? I used the copy-icon in my sketch panel as i need to put a, b, c, d, e,...etc and I think it's time-taking to open each time the text editor.
