lpseifert Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Try the DVIEW command - it's explained fairly well in HELP. also, be sure the system variable PERSPECTIVE is set to 1 Quote
skipsophrenic Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Rightclick anywhere blank on your toolbar, and bring up the view toolbar, then choose which view you want. If in paperspace go into the viewport and set up the view the same way. In both cases after you have se up the view you may have to pan and zoom to get the right scale. Quote
ammobake Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 I think you can also select different perspective views in the 3d navigation toolbar if you need an isometric/perpsective view in model space. You would just need to select any one of the isometric views in the drop-down menu. If you need to show a perspective view in a viewport, sometimes the visual styles can get a little tricky with the 3d objects you want to show. One way around this is to select the viewport, right click, click properties, and select the proper "shade plot" option. I noticed that sometimes when you try to plot perspective/isometric views of 3d solids, the visual style will not always plot the way you really intend. This is why the shade plot option is really helpful. In doing my own perspective views of steel saddles a while back, I changed all the viewports "shade plot" selection to "3D Hidden". That way nothing was plotted except the outlines of the objects. The prints looked great, i got compliments, everyone was happy. -ChriS Quote
