Pre Set Hatch Pattern - Default

Yo dudes!

How do you reset the default hatch pattern to the one you want any time I open up AutoCAD. (2008)

My current one is Predefined - Angle.

Wot if I want it to be Predefined - Net. or any other of my choosing.

Changing the setvar - HPNAME to another hatch style does not do it. Only for the current drawing session.

add this to your acaddoc.lsp file

(SETVAR "HPNAME" "[color=Red][i]HATCHNAME[/i][/color]")

I have the same issue and the same result. Is there a way to set the Hatch Pattern to one of my choosing and keep it that way each time I open a current or new drawing? In my case, I'm trying to find a way to set it to "SOLID."

I can't find an "acaddoc.lsp" file to add to nor find what has set "ANSI31" to default in the first place.
