Tallie
Hey All, Not sure if this was the right place to ask this question but anyway . . . I was just wondering if anyone was able to tell me how to bring MapInfo TAB files into my map in AutoCAD Map. I haven't been able to work it out yet but I've read in alot of places that you can do it. Thankss for your help. Cheers
TigerByTheTail
Tallie, I've been out of work for 6 months, so I can't give you specific step-by-step instructions. I used to import TAB files to Map. If you've assigned a global coordinate system, you should be able to do it. You'll also have the option of bringing in any attribute info from the TAB files. We used to bring in roads, and include the road names, then label them in Map. Same thing for city limits and county lines. Sorry I can't be more detailed.
