Can no longer select objects and then place cmd?

Hi guys

Somehow I've changed a setting in Autocad 2008.

Before I could select the objects I wanted and then hit the command.

What happens now is I select the objects, type in the command, and instead of running the cmd it asks me to select the objects again.

Basically what I need is to be able to select objects, type cmd, cmd runs.
