Nick Rennie Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Hi there, I have a drawing in which certain layers freeze by themselves. Sounds a bit strange when written like that, but basically I have several layers that have frozen by themselves, I thaw them, then after a short time I might be working on a different area of the drawing and shift back to view the objects on those layers in question and find they are frozen again. Strange one. Any ideas? Autocad 2008. Thanks, Nick Quote
ReMark Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Self-freezing layers? Just when I thought I heard everything someone comes up with a new one. Maybe you are using a rogue LISP routine that somehow recognizes these once frozen layers, now thawed, and then refreezes them? Sounds convoluted when written out. Are you up-to-date with service packs for 2008? When did the problem first occur? Does this happen only in this one particular drawing? Quote
Zorg Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 If you're refering to your model space i doubt they are freezing themselves. I once confused having them switched off in a viewport and not in the model. If call up your layer manager and select all then unfreeze all layers in the viewport, you can quickly identify if that is the case. If not, im stumped! Quote
