Dim Text problem

Hey everyone,

I have a problem with dimtext rotation. When I`m doing plan views and sections and all that I use MVSETUP to rotate the viewport for the presentation and leave the views and everything orthogonal to make changes easier and keep everything clean in MSPACE. But depending on how a view is rotated the text ends up upside down (see attached picture). Does anyone know how to fix this?

This may or may not help, but have you tried setting your UCS to "View"? That usually seems to take care of text rotational problems when I'm using DV Twist (in Model Space). I don't use MVSETUP so I don't know how useful this will be, but it might help. You might have to redo the dimensions once you've changed your UCS.

Sorry to sound obvious, but I assume you are dimensioning in Paper Space?

Also, can you explain the difference between the 2 views you posted? They look mirrored as opposed to rotated? Is the drawing on the left viewport rotated and the drawing on the right not, or have both been rotated? By how much? 180°? Perhaps it would be better to post the same drawing before and after?

I believe I am having similar issues. Did you ever figure out a solution to this problem?
