kymba Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Is this possible? ie. say you have a circle at 0,0 that needs to be copied three times so that the distance between centres is: 1200, 1000 & 1500 instead of typing 0,1200 for the second, 0,2200 for the third and 0,3700 for the last, i want to be able to use the last copied circle as the basepoint for the next so i can just type 0,1200, 0,1000 & 0,1500 hope i make sense -kymba Quote
PS_Port Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Turn ORTHO on, ensure you are ghosting in the right direction, the you can simply type the distances...running dimensions e.g. 1200 (enter), 2200 (enter) 3700 (enter) Quote
kymba Posted July 17, 2009 Author Posted July 17, 2009 Thanks PS_Port, but i need to do the opposite...i don't want to add up (lazyness & dyslexia) e.g. 1200 (enter), 1000 (enter), 1500 (enter) Quote
RobDraw Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Look into object tracking. Once I started using it, I never stopped. Quote
