E_Hoog Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Hey everyone, I have some text that needs to be exploded to do a certain print job and I've found out how to explode it but every time I do the text becomes really really small (almost invisible at the zoom I'm looking at) is there a quick way to scale these exploded texts up in size, or a way to prevent the text from getting so small? Thanks, Eric Quote
CADMASTER1128 Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Make sure the text isn't Annotative. That's what could cause it to be small when you explode the text. Quote
E_Hoog Posted July 22, 2009 Author Posted July 22, 2009 The text was Annotative but I switched it to standard and got the same result. Quote
E_Hoog Posted July 22, 2009 Author Posted July 22, 2009 I need it printed professionally (with high resolution) and they don't deal with text, told me to explode any text I might have before hand Quote
Tankman Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 I need it printed professionally (with high resolution) and they don't deal with text, told me to explode any text I might have before hand Might you highlight the text and scale it up? Works for the "junque" plumbing *.dwg files I work with. Quote
AlinOz Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Try this option - FLATTEN command (in express tools for some time). Zoom up as close as you can to the text, flatten it and tell it to Hide. That'll trace it for you. If it's not the answer for you, keep it in mind cause it comes in handy at times. As far as I'm aware there is no way you can explode text (always been a problem)... Quote
ReMark Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 The OP is using ACAD 2008 and therefore should have Express Tools and the option to explode text using the Text Explode command (TXTEXP). Quote
