For some strange reason some general autoCAD settings were set back to the 19th century in my current drawing. I guess it happened when I was trying to apply what I had posted in the forum about an hour ago...

Problem: Suddenly I can't see on which layer an object is when I click on it (current layer on the toolbar just stays, it doesn't switch to the selected layer as before), I can't move objects from one layer to another by clicking on the object and then simply clicking on the desired layer in the tool bar. Neither can I change the color of an object, or the line type by selecting it on the toolbar. Furthermore, dimensions don't show anymore when I select a corner for example to stretch it, and when I select an object, for example to move it, then I can't click on the toolbar after (I am forced to first click "move" on the toolbar before I can select the object)... which is the most annoying...

would be really great if someone knows how this could be fixed...
