Panic Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Hello, When I open a drawing drawn in meters, all properties (text, dimensions etc) are shown in inches. I am using AutoCad 2007. Does anybody knows why this is happening? Thanks!! Quote
VisDak Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Try to check the "DDUNITS" check the insertion scale if it is millimitter or inches, or Check also the "Options" go to user preferences and set the insertion scale to millimiter. see attached image Quote
Panic Posted July 26, 2009 Author Posted July 26, 2009 Thanks a lot for your help. It worked fine!! Just another small question. When I sent the specific drawing after I did some changes to it's original owner who uses AutoCad 2009 he said that the drawing was in large scale. Is the reason for this problem the fact that I was drawing while it was in inches and not in milimeters? Quote
VisDak Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Try to purge all/audit and save , before you send it, i think:) Quote

Set the options back to their original settings BEFORE you send it back, and the original owner will never know different. Quote
