My office switched from AutoCAD 2009 to 2010 this month. Everything is fine except for a new feature with X-refs.
Our system is set up so that we insert every x-ref with a 0,0,0 base point. The problem in 2010 is that this point becomes a grip and the grip is part of the drawing. Every time I use zoom extents my whole drawing goes out to where my basepoint is (which obviously results in two little dots on my screen).
Do you guys know of a way to switch off this basepoint grip for x-refs?
