AutoCAD 2009 Plotting to DXF

Hi, Can some one tell me if, in 2009, there is a way of automatically selecting to publish to a printer/plotter automatically. It defaults to trying to save to a DWF. I used 2007 prior to 2009 and you had to manually select DWF (if you wanted to plot to DWF.)

It seems to me that most people would want to plot to a printer more often than a DWF. So why does CAD default to DWF?

Is there a system variable to change this?

Any help would be appreciated.

You can try Tools > Options > Plot and Publish tab. Change whatever is under the heading Use as default output device. Does that do it?
