SuperCAD Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Let's say I have a solid that represents the side panel of a typical cabinet, and I want to add (well, subtract really) line bore holes for shelf pegs, is there a way to set up a tool palette to subtract a specifically sized solid? For example, if all of our shelf line bore holes are 1/4" in diameter and 3/8" deep, can I set up a tool palette with a function that would automatically subtract that specific size from a solid at the point that I specify? If I'm not making any sense, just let me know. Quote
ReMark Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 You want to automate the process of making these holes. Right? Sounds like a job for the Action Recorder but that wasn't made available until 2009 I believe. Next best thing would be a Lisp routine I would think. Quote
SuperCAD Posted July 30, 2009 Author Posted July 30, 2009 That sucks. I'm not any good with lisp routines, and an upgrade is not in our budget any time soon. Quote
