KaiBo Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Default Profile I just reinstalled AutoCAD 2009, and every time I open the program it uses the ‘Vanilla’ profile instead of my profile. I set my profile to current and then when I restart I get Vanilla. Does anyone know why cad would not default to the last used profile? Quote

Car5858 Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Do you have "save changes workspace" box checked in the option's? Quote
KaiBo Posted July 31, 2009 Author Posted July 31, 2009 Car5858, I can not find "save changes workspace" under option, I did find "Automatically save workspace changes" under workspace stings. this check box did not work for me. Quote
Car5858 Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 "Automatically save workspace changes" is the one that I was thinking of. Next thing to do is to export your profile and change the file exension as stated in the help file. Each time that you do a "repair installation" you will have to go to options and select your profile as current. If it is not listed then you need to import your profile from the location that you saved it to. Then select make current. That should set you right. If you place your profile on a flash drive you can inport it into any workstation that you use. Quote
