muck Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 If you want to clean a drawing of overlapping text lines & objects what is the best way. Examples are text that is overlapping in some areas of a drawing but not in other areas. What is the best way to erase the underlaying objects but keep the top objects. Thank you Quote
lpseifert Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 There's Express Tools' Textmask command; or if it's Mtext, use Background Mask. These don't erase the underlying entities, just mask them. Quote
Danse_Macabre Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Be warned that weird things happen when you try to create a pdf when using text masks. Sometimes the text masks come out black after printing a pdf, it's something that has frustrated me quite a bit lately. Quote
muck Posted August 5, 2009 Author Posted August 5, 2009 What about underlaying entities you don't want to be there. Like a "D" on top of a "D" A line on top of a identical line. Underlaying entities that should not be there. Quote
