phil133 Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 This last couple of days my autocad version is not displaying a dialogue prompt for saving when closing down drawings and automatically saves any changes no matter now small. My automatic save is used to back up my drawing to a local server. and I can't see any other selections in the options section to solve this problem. I,ve tried the "expert" and "filedia" commands but still can't seem to sort the problem. I have third party software called drawing manager by CAElink that I read in a blog may cause this sort of problem but I re-installed it and it still hasn't sorted itself. Quote
Strix Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your problem directly, but I can tell you that I always add a button macro for 'zoom extents, purge, save, close' when I'm working with AutoCAD, so that the housekeeping is all done in one click of a button when closing down Quote
ReMark Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Do you have a time interval set within AutoCAD for auto-saving? If so, what is it set at? Quote
