Using solidworks Geometry references in AutoCAD

I am trying to find a method to insert my 2d geometry created in the solidworks drawing package to AutoCAd. I want it to keep all its relations. For updating and modification purposes.

The reason is because I need to make sure they are both 100% identical. I would like to be able to modify the model which will in result update my cad drawing.

if you are in a drawing(not part or assembly) you can save as a dxf or dwg file.
