SHAZ Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 hiiiiiiiiii can anybody suggest me how can i explode this drawing...i cannot explode it by using explode directly...i am using autocad 2007 version...when i am trying to explode it .the command line shows as"1 was an external reference".So i cannot understand what is that ..If u get it please let me know....and give me the solution for this ..i will be very thankful to you... THank You shaz That's because there's an XREF attached to the drawing. type XREF at the command line, right click the drawing in the Xref Manager and click "Bind". This will import it as a block into the drawing and from there EXPLODE and edit all you need. Quote
