wandyhee Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Hi, just want to ask general question here regarding 3d application, how many of you guys using modeling toolbar (box, cone, cylinder, sphere, etc) constantly while doing 3d drawings? i'm asking because I haven't see where is the part we're going to use it... I normally creating the object from 2d, then do all the extrude, revolve, union, substract, etc to turn it into 3d object.. Hope any of you guys can answer this question. Quote

Hope any of you guys can answer this question. i have only used it a few times because i am still learning the basics, and drawing spheres, cones etc is how i started out with 3D. Quote
ReMark Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Primitive Solids, as they are called, can also be found on the Dashboard and under the Draw > Solids menu in AutoCAD 2007. I have used them on rare occassions; mostly the Sphere. Quote
