aravindkpe Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Dear all, Is it realy passible to protect a DWG file as non editable. one of my friend wants to share his drawing file to others. but he doesn't want them to edit that file. wants to make some protection!!!!!!! is there any tricks or software? Tankman Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 No safe way to lock the drawing, someone will open it. Although *.pdf files can be converted to *.dxf files, a tad messy. The mess can be cleaned up if someone really wants to copy your work. I only send a *.dwg file to trusted clients. Others get the *.pdf files. Quote
