Dynamic block problem: vertical stretch of several segments

Hello everyone

I'm trying to make block of a garage doors. I can't figure out how to make vertical segments stretch equally. I started with stretch action with distance multiplier but i end up with properly stretching just one segment while other just move.

Without seeing your block I would say you need to have seperate stretch actions for each segment. Assuming 4 parts you would have 1 at a multiplier of x1, one at x0.75, one at x0.5 and one at x0.25

That is what i was thinking but, no go.

I see what you mean. I'll have a look later.

One change I made was to remove the verticals from the stretch action set which did help but not totally solve the problem.

OK, try this

I was getting odd results but eventually I was more careful with my stretch frames. I think they were overlapping before .

The problem was that the parameter point associated with the vertical stretch actions should be the second point (where the blue triangle is) and not the start point.

The attached should now be ok.
