chulse Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Has anyone ever had a (supposedly normal) PLINE refuse to OFFSET?? I just had one - I exploded it and merged it back together and still wouldn't offset... I was able to offset it as separate objects, but not a complete closed PLINE... Quote
ReMark Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Are you sure it is a "normal polyline" and not a 3Dpolyline? Quote

chulse Posted August 18, 2009 Author Posted August 18, 2009 Are you sure it is a "normal polyline" and not a 3Dpolyline? Yep, I tried flattening it (even though it was not showing any 3d properties) - nothing I tried redrawing it with OSNAPZ = 1 and still nothing. In the end, I exploded it and offset part of it, then re-joined it as 2 separate plines... worked ok after that... Just a strange, once in a while thing I guess... That's what makes doing cad work interesting What fun would it be if everything worked perfectly? Quote
