O Snap! Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 Hi. I posted this question about a year ago, but was unable to get an answer so I'm asking this again. This is using AutoCad 2009. This problem occurs while using layerwalk, regardless of layer state, saved or unsaved, when I turn various layers on/off using layerwalk, upon closing layerwalk, the current layer will always automatically change to the last layer on my list of layers (whatever's last alphabetically, and turned ON.) This has nothing to do with my "restore" selection. This is getting annoying. How can I use layerwalk without it changing layers on me? Thanks Quote
ReMark Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 So no matter what Restore on Exit is set to you always encounter the same problem (i.e. - automatically change to last layer)? Quote
ReMark Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Are you current with your service pack update? Are you on subscription? Quote
O Snap! Posted August 25, 2009 Author Posted August 25, 2009 So no matter what Restore on Exit is set to you always encounter the same problem (i.e. - automatically change to last layer)? Correct. As long as Restore is not checked, laywalk will retain whatever changes I make to the layers. The only problem is that it will automatically make current whatever layer is last on my list of layers that are turned on. As I am on a recently purchased network license subscription, I can only assume my service packs are current. But then again, I'd have to check on that. Quote
ReMark Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Service packs are available to the general AutoDesk public. Subscriptions are a different matter since a yearly fee is paid. To check information about the version of AutoCAD you are running type the word About at the command line then press Enter. Click on the Product Information button. On the left hand side what does it say for Product Service Pack? Quote
O Snap! Posted August 25, 2009 Author Posted August 25, 2009 I'm on version 3.1 (this is Civil 3d 2009) Quote
