View Full Version : AutoCAD 2008 LT Keeps Crashing! Can you help?

For some reason when i hit the 'Layer Properties Manager' icon or hit 'Paste' its crashing. Has anyone came across this before and if so can you advise on a solution?

Extremely frustrated!

When did the problem first occur?

Are you current with the service pack for AutoCAD 2008?

So AutoCAD actually terminates right? Is there any kind of error message when this happens?

The problem with the layers started a month or two ago and ive been managing without the function by copying layers in from other drawings. It only started crashing when i hit 'paste' today.

No, im not current with the service pack.

Yeah, it just freezes completely. No error message.

Your first step should be to immediately download and install the service pack. Create a RESTORE point (a Windows function) prior to doing so. We do not want to make a bad situation worse. OK? After doing so test a drawing and report back here with the results. Don't keep us waiting. Our ice cream is melting down the side of the cone.
