MechaEngine Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Greetings all, I'm looking for a version of Autdesks 3d modeler from 2000-2002. I have an older computer that I would like to put this on, and I'm wondering if anyone has old version sitting around that they might be willing to part with. Even at a reduced price. Thanks, MechaEngine "The easiest day, was yesterday." Quote
ReMark Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Welcome to the CADTutor forum MechaEngine. You might try eBay or craigslist. "The easiest day was yesterday." I have a very unique shirt with that exact saying on the back of it. And you? Quote
ReMark Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Point of clarification. You're looking for AutoCAD 2000-2002 right? Quote
MechaEngine Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 AutoCad 2000-2002 would be ideal, but any of the other earlier versions would work as well. I'm just looking at possibly putting this on a computer with a little older Hardware (or newer so that it runs better), and I thought it might be a better option than using the newer versions that seemed to be purposely programmed to take up more computer resources. Which, is a little bit backwards in my mind. Thanks for the reply, MechaEngine "The easiest day, was yesterday" Quote

My first hard drive was a little over 10mb yes Megabytes. as things get more complex, you need more space, and faster tech. to run it. The only thing that gets smaller is the physical size of parts as they find ways to compress the chips. Quote
