Does the report file have to be on the server for samlite to process the file?

I’m creating a file called samlite.rl on the server, then I copy the file to my office computer and I get the following error message:

Maybe I should ask the question another way.

Does the Samreport LITE that comes with AutoCAD have to be installed on the server or can I install the Samreport Lite on my office computer and process the report (.rl file)?

Sorry for the confusion. Here's the answer:

"SAMReport Lite does not need to be installed directly on the server and in many cases it is in fact not desirable to do so."

This comes courtesy of AutoDesk article ID: TS1076506 entitled Problems Installing or Configuring SAMReport Lite.

You're welcomed? Not sure i actually provided any help other than to confuse things. But I am glad to hear it was something relatively minor that caused the problem and you were able to sort out in less than a day's time. Nothing like a problem popping up to really kill one's workflow. TGIF...right?
