Wilkie Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 AutoCad 2009, model space layer issue I can turn on and unfreeze all of the layers in the property manager but one layer will remain off. I can also turn that layer on in the layers ribbon but it will remain off. It will show that it is on in the layer properties manager, but show it is off in the ribbon! Of course I cannot see the objects. The blocks in that layer can be placed on other layers and they work normally. Weird. Quote
chulse Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Ok, complete guess here, but what happens if you cange LAYERDLGMODE to 0 (return to the old style Layer Manager dilog)? Will the change stick then? Quote

I professional opinion I would have to say in the business that's what we would call a "Weird Layer Control Issue" Quote

Wilkie Posted September 17, 2009 Author Posted September 17, 2009 Cary, thanks for your response, unfortunately this did not help. The really weird thing is that I created a cloned layer that turns on and off just fine. I am wondering if there is some filter that I accidentally placed on this layer that is over-riding the on-off switch. Quote
chulse Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Chalk that one up to buggy software I guess... Quote
