Strat Slinger Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I'm using 2 different plotters. When I plot on one of them, the color looks the same as it does on my screen. When I use the other plotter the colors are slightly different (i.e. the blue is purple, red is more brown, etc) Is there a setting that I can change to make the plotter plot the actual colors? Quote
nukecad Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Sounds like a plotter issue rather than an Autocad one. Simple cause of 'wrong' colours that often gets overlooked - are all the inks in the cartridge full? For example I use some forms that have some fields in light grey, if the red ink runs out then these fields print as a light green. (I do use a lot of red ink on posters etc.) Also check, in the windows printer properties, the colour settings for the plotter that is wrong, and if possible compare these to the settings for the 'correct' one..
