Yolanda Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Hello to everybody, maybe you can help me: I want to place a big numer of dots (circles) on a verctorized line (vectorized tribialdesign). Is there a way that AC can set the circles automaticaly, giving the distance beetween the circles?? I know that it is possible in corel Draw (already done), but i would like to know if it is possible in AC and how i can do it. thank for every respond. Yolanda Quote
ReMark Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 You could try using the Measure command with the Block option. The "block" in this case would be your circle. Here is how AutoCAD Help defines the Measure command. "Creates point objects or blocks at measured intervals along the length or perimeter of an object." Quote
Yolanda Posted September 17, 2009 Author Posted September 17, 2009 Hi ReMark, thanks for your reply, i will try that asap. Quote
ReMark Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 FYI - You might want to consult your AutoCAD Help file regarding a similar command called Divide that allows you to divide an object (say a line) into equal parts. It too has a "block" option. For future consideration. Quote
Yolanda Posted September 18, 2009 Author Posted September 18, 2009 Thousand thanks, its exactly what i was looking for. I will also try with the tip of the "Divide" comand. Quote
ReMark Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 You're entirely welcomed Yolanda. I'm glad to hear that you got the results you were looking for with the measure command. Thanks for the update. Quote
