Field analysis

I am using fields to calculate the area of an object using polylines and

get a calculation similar to:

%%).Area \f "%lu2%pr2%ct8[1e-006]">%

It certainly works ok but I would like to find the variable which holds the area

number so that I can multiply it by 10.7639 and get sq.ft.

Can anyone please explain and breakdown the sample shown above.
