Things dissapear as my drawing loads

Several times I have had entities that I know are on a layer show up as the drawing loads and then dissapear as it finishes loading. I cannot get to those after the load is finished, but they show up when I use a viewer like our document management software. This is in Autocad Map 2009. Any ideas? Theses are driving me nuts.

When I load some of my drawings there are entities that show up while the drawing is loading and then they dissapear and i cannot see or do anything with them. that is until I close the drawing and view it again in my document management software where they live on and print on. Please help me find these mystery entities. Thanks.

I have purged layers and tried to find hidden grips with no luck.

Prob a bit late but have you added the layer to your map...?
Display Manager> Data> Add Drawing Data> Drawing Layer...
