Ricardo Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Okay guys, I just installed AutoCAD 2007 and am working on an electrical riser diagram. I need to obtain the architect-type fonts to label a few things. Does anyone know where I can find these so I can download? I did it once, but that was a very long time ago and I don't remember Any help is highly appreciated, thanks Quote
ReMark Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 It would be most helpful if you could provide us with the font names. Are we taling TrueType fonts (TTF) or AutoCAD-style fonts (SHX)? Quote
ReMark Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Find some fonts here. To download right-click on font and choose "save target as". http://www.cadcorner.ca/textstyles.php Quote
Ricardo Posted October 16, 2009 Author Posted October 16, 2009 I'm having difficulty saving the files onto my computer. It says I have to obtain permission from an admin ... I'm looking for "archstyl" type fonts on .shx Quote
ReMark Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Seems as though you do not have Administrator rights to your computer. Basically IT has locked you out. Quote
Ricardo Posted October 16, 2009 Author Posted October 16, 2009 Wonderful...what else can we do? Quote
ReMark Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 PM me with your email address. I'll send you a version the 2004 version of the font. Do it quickly as I'll be gone in an hour. It's 2:50 PM where I am now. Quote
cedwards Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I have attached the *.shx file but you can go here for all the fonts you could ask for. http://www.tannarzane.com/files/index.php Username: cadtutor Password: autocadmep Archstyl.zip Quote
ReMark Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 For some reason the OP cannot download fonts off the Internet. Quote
ReMark Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 OK. I waited until 4:25 PM and no response. I'm outta here. Good luck. Hope you got your font issue straightened out. Quote
Tankman Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Wonderful...what else can we do? Maybe download at home to a USB thumb drive? I'm not sure but, you might be able to use the font right from removable drive. Quote
