Indepth rendering tutorial

I have trawled the net for a long time now trying to find an indepth tutorial on rendering but have had no luck. Most of the tutorials are very basic and don't show you what 90% of the options do or mean in adv rendering.

Does anyone know of any?

Each rendering package has so many of it's own nuances and settings. With ACADs render, it has changed dramatically over the years so I doubt you will find a great book.

Lighting, material, camera, target, backgrounds, shading and shadowing all important and are just as much art as technical in my experience. The showcase forum here has some good ideas and will get you some constructive critiques. Good Luck! -David

If you want "In Depth" I would suggest buying a book. Online Autocad tutorials are few and far between, and as you have already discovered, only cover the basics.

book like as 3ds max books!..
