N_461 Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Hi, we're having issues with inserting our logo as a jpg. When we insert our titleblock the image is gone and just shows the path. Is the a way to bind or attach the jpg onto the drawing itself. Basically....i want the jpg to STAY with the drawing. thanks.... going crazy... Quote

Open the image in Paint or any image editing software, copy the image and paste it into AutoCAD; it will be an embedded object. However, I would convert the image to a dxf with Adobe Illustrator and bring it into the titleblock. Quote

You can open an eps with photoshop eh? dxf? we actually had it converted to dwg but it was pretty mangled... Quote

Once you've converted it to dxf, you have to do a little cleanup, it's not going to be perfect. Quote
N_461 Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 Yah, i don't think its worth bothering to install and mess around with. I finished our CAD Version of the logo and thats good to go. For colour plots i've suggested just using an OLE object (pdf cropped from our high res pantone file). Quote
