Text Edit Issues in Converted Drawings

I'm converting drawings done in Visio to AutoCAD. The text in the drawing does not allow me to edit it in properties, instead, I have to double click on the text to get the text editor and change it there. Is there a way to convert the text some how so I can change it in properties? This would save a lot of time.

Maybe it's "mtext"?

When you "list" a text object, what does it report compared to text you can edit via Properties?

And if it is mtext, you could "explode" it to regular text.

I typed list and this is what it says:

\C7;\fArial|b0|i0|;\H5.1366530455649;Group A-D\PThese groups

are wired the same except for \Pthe Load in, Load out & control

I exploded it and now I can edit it in properties.
