Newuser2 Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 My old laptop recently failed, but I was able to salvage the hard drive. I have Autocad 2008 student version (perpetual license) and would like to reinstall on my new laptop. How should I proceed from here? Quote
SuperCAD Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I think you may have to get on the phone and talk to Autodesk. We upgraded our computers last year and our IT guy spent around three hours on the phone with them to migrate the licenses over for four computers. Quote
lulumara Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 You can install right away because you have a serial number on your Cad 2008 student edition and I know Automatically it will read it . If not you can call them and send the Authorized number to you by email. Quote
