MarcoW Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I wonder if this can be done in Acad 2007: I have a dwg that contains several layouts. These layouts are all set to be plotted by a specific plotter and to the right paper size... This I accomplish by the page setup manager. That all runs nice. So no problems with that. Oh, whenever I need to plot more than one layout I use "publish" and publish the layouts that I need. Important: since I trust my own drawings I can do this blindfolded (?) for the right papersizes are set. Now: how would I manage to do this to PDF? At this moment I manually plot per layout to the desired PDF. I DO NOT save to layout for I want the layout to remain as it is (set to the plotter with all it's setting). When plotted to PDF I press cancel and go to the next layout. I choose "previous plot" and then go along.. each layout the same... I can't believe that I am doing it as I should but I don't know better. If it were possible to plot to PDF "by publish" and I would not have to worry about the paper sizes that would be nice. Anyone can help me? Thank you in advance. Quote
Cadologist Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I know there is the option in a 'sheetset' to assign page setup overrides to allow you to plot say 'half scale' or 'full scale' or 'pdf' as it's programmed into the sheetset template. I know what you are talking about, I run into this all the time, typically I do probably what you do, print one of them then use the 'print/plot previous' and don't save anything (as in the drawing). alanjt Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Create a pagesetup, then select it for all sheets in Publish. Quote
