This should be a simple task and I am sure there is a simple answer.
I am trying to edit the initial 2D sketch of a part using Inventor 2010 after I have already used the revolve command on it. ( I want to change the geometry of it, add some grooves, change a radius...)
I've been searching through previous threads and they all bring up some sort of feature tree, or history tree which I do not have. ( or is currently not selected to view, and using Help I can not find out how to display)
again, any help is appreciated.

got it, had to select Browser in View>>Windows>>User Interface.
From there it is easy to edit.
