how do you make sure your model space scale is set to 1:1 i have searched the internet and cant find out anywhere

If model space is empty, like in a new drawing, chances are pretty good it is 1:1. Start drawing everything full size.

Please consider making the heading of your next post a bit more descriptive. The one word help that you used is about as vague as they come. You'll get more people to view your thread if you are more exact. OK?

Model space is always 1:1 scale. Just like remark said just start drawing everything to full dimensions.

Model space is 'bout 99.999% always set 1:1,

We just had the OP convinced he did NOT have to draw to scale. Now, Tankman, you've confused him for sure.

Limar: Draw FULL size in model space. Don't worry about scale until you get into your layout. You do plan on using a layout right?

remark i dont think so, i think lemar is not using layouts at the moment, that would be the only reason why, of course drawing in arch. some times changes that i have seen???? LEMAR USE LAYOUTS..... LOL
