How to calculate water supply PIPE SIZE base on number of fixtures

Hey,

My co-worker was look to find away to calculate water supply PIPE SIZE base on the number of fixtures. Is there a chart or lisp routine out there?

I know there is pressure drop and other related info. It is the engineers job to do most of design work. Dose anyone have a solution.

Mechanical engineer should have necessary resources to determine this. It's pretty much spelled out in the Uniform Plumbing Code.
