Elasker Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 What I am trying to figure out is using polar stretch, after rotating it, the text follows with it. However i have a rotation command with the attributes, so I can decide what direction i want the attributes and the 3 texts to face. When I choose to rotate the attribute, the locations of the text are all over the place. I would like to know if it is possible to use only 1 rotation command to rotate the text and attributes. Here is an example. 1. It works fine when the polar stretch is not rotated and just the attribute and text are rotated 2. After rotating the polar stretch, the text works fine as it follows the angle. 3. Rotate the attribute and text, the attribute works, and the text is in a different position (this is the problem) EXAMPLE1.dwg Quote
Tommy78 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Just took a look at it, the trick is to include all your rotate actions in the polar stretch action selection set, in your example everthing except the polar action needs to be in the selection set, works fine like that! When they are not included the basepoints of the rotations are not moved with the polar stretch and rotations are made relative to their original starting points. Quote
Elasker Posted November 17, 2009 Author Posted November 17, 2009 Thank you so much. I got it now. I hate it when there is always 1 small detail missing in dynamic blocks. Quote
