Hey all,

This is really simple but I have no idea what to do. I'm making these cruved triangular modules and each point is a different height making the roof scheme a curve. When I extrude the base I can only get one or two points correct before all the ends are distorted whether the height becomes too short or too tall.

I've been reading around with no help so if anyone can take a look at my file and direct me to the answer it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

In the file, the green vertical lines represent the height of where I need the roof to come to.

Hmm there's probably other ways of doing this but here's what I tried out.

Say one of the shapes has 3 different heights.

What I did was I created a 3D Polylines from the top of the lines.

Then converted the 3d poly to a planesurf using Object option

Scale that planesurf up to cover your entire shape using base point some where in the middle of the surface.

Extrude the shape up high

Slice using surface option.

Dunno if 2007 has the option of slicing with surfaces though.

Hmm looks like if you have a more than 3 different heights you wont be able to convert 3D poly to planesurf.

Hey thanks for the response. Don't mean to be a pain but can you save it as a 2007 file. Only version I got :P
